They say you learn something everyday.  I don’t know about that but I did learn something this weekend.  If anyone ever ask me how long it takes to fly to Texas and drive back to Ohio, the answers is twenty nine and one half hours.  Wow! What a weekend.  Get up at 3:00 AM Friday morning.  Drive to Columbus, Catch a flight to Atlanta. Change planes to Killeen Texas.  Hop in the truck with Stephen and set out for the return trip home.  Drive through Dallas, Texarkana, Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville, and Lexington to arrive home in one piece.  God does answer prayers.  It was great getting to be with Stephen.  I can’t wait till he is out of the Army and moves back to Jackson.  He has become a fine young man and his Dad is quite proud of him.

We also had good services this weekend at Hamilton Glades, especially the evening service.  I think God has put me in a good place, I guess that shouldn’t surprise me.  I guess sometimes my faith is a little week, but I just love it when God does something like I have witnessed over the last few months.  He never ceases to amaze me.

Rough Day, no sleep last night, sinus congestion, sneezing, headaches, etc.  I had a difficult time focusing at work and wasn’t real productive.  But on the good side, church was good, Brother Willis taught a good lesson from Galations Chapter 1, and Sister Patty Culp came through her surgery in good shape.  God is Good!  All the time!

Good day today!  I heard back from our Moderator and learned that a preacher is already scheduled for conference.  I just have to find a singer.  I asked Sherry Thompson if she could sing for us and am waiting to hear back.  I contacted James Fulton about moving my credentials to the Porter Conference and he told me I needed to write him a letter.

Delmar Parker called to let me know that Patty Culp was having surgery today in Columbus.  I tried to contact Mark but the number that Delmar gave me didn’t work.  Maybe I wrote it down incorrectly.  I had a really good session of prayer on behalf of Patty and Mark’s family along with Mark Cooper for his blood pressure and migraines.

I spent the work day writing Java.  I seldom get to write code so each time I have to relearn.  It makes for a quick work day.  This was the first day I can remember where I did not get interrupted more than once or twice all day.
